Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling is grown on the estate's lower, cooler slopes, where the grapes ripen more slowly and retain more flavour and natural acidity.

The fruit is machine harvested in the cool of night and pressed immediately. The juice is floated to remove solids, racked off gross lees, then warmed for inoculation with pure yeast cultures.

Cold fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks over several weeks to preserve the fruit's delicate flavours. Post ferment, the wine is fined, cold stabilized and bottled.

Straw green, Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling has soft citrus flavours, a fine mineral thread and sherbet like acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
